Approach

Breadth is a qualification.

A company’s legal problems rarely arrive sorted by specialty. A merger raises employment questions. A key hire raises immigration questions. A board decision can raise all of them at once.

Since 1998 I have formed dozens of companies and nonprofit organizations, drafted their bylaws and operating agreements, served as arbitrator in hundreds of business disputes, most of them resolved informally, and built an immigration practice that now serves an entire hospital system. That range is deliberate.

Specialists are essential, and we engage them when a matter calls for one. What a company also needs is a counsel who sees how the pieces affect one another and who is accountable for the whole.
